St. Michael Abbey School is a co-educational independent international school for pupils aged 13 to 19.

The school has a capacity of 200 pupils, of whom approximately 120 will be boarders.

At St Michael Abbey School, we are committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Our admissions criteria is designed to ensure that we enrol students who will benefit from our educational offerings and contribute positively to our school community.

Policy

The first cohort of pupils due to start in September 2025, will be small and predominantly consist of pupils in Years 9 and 10. As the school increases year on year, the maximum pupils in each year will be 30; made up of two forms of 15 pupils.

Deciding on the right school is very important, and a personal visit or support from an Agent is encouraged in helping you to make the right choice. Parents and potential candidates are welcome to visit the school or arrange a virtual appointment with the Founding Headteacher. Parents can also ask an Agent for advice as they will be familiar with the school. SMA School is always open for visits so please do not hesitate to contact us or attend our Open Events which will be advertised on this website

Curriculum

SMA School is open to local and international students, with a vast curriculum of GCSEs and A-Level courses.

We know the importance of these essential qualifications in influencing the future educational and career opportunities of students, which is why our students are continuously supported in understanding and mastery of subjects.

We have a competitive fee structure, with bursaries and academic scholarships for students with outstanding talent.
